Alcohol Consumption and Un-sportsman like Behavior Are Grounds For Disqualification

Rules for Stock Antique Class

  1. Antique Models – 1900 thru 1967; must have original serial number. Tractors will be checked if in question.
  2. Tractors must retain stock appearance.
  3. Gasoline, LP, and Diesel Fuel Tractors only. No Alcohol. No Nitrous.
  4. Tractors must weigh within limits of each weight class. No overweight allowance.
  5. One class entry per tractor. Total of two pulls per tractor.
*6. No altered tire cutting, trimming, etc… allowed.
  7. No dual wheels.
*8. Tire size 18.4 thru 7500# class; tire size 24.5 in 8500 thru 16000# classes.
  9. A pair of wheelie bars are required.
*10. Draw bar with clevis required.
  11. Draw bar must be stationary with no more than 1” movement.
  12. 20” maximum height to the top of the draw bar with minimum ¾” draw bar thickness; 18June 4, 2008of hole.
  13. No part of draw bar can be touching sled chain while pulling.
  14. Tractor must have working brakes.
  15. No turbo or super chargers unless factory equipped.
  16. Use of factory TA and Multi-power will be allowed one time only.
*17. Add on weights allowed. Add on weights are not to extend over 11 feet from the centerline of rear axle.
  18. No one is allowed on the track except pullers and officials.
  19. Pullers 16 years of age and younger must have a signed release by parent or guardian to pull. Kill switch is required on tractor.
  20. Tractors must weigh out after each pull and have their draw bar checked. Driver is to stay on the tractor.
  21. Drivers must remain seated during the pull with at least one hand on the steering wheel.
*22. No tractor will exceed 3 ½ mph. Two warnings will be issued. Pull will be disqualified on third violation with no measurement recorded.
  23. Pull must start with tight chain. No jerking of sled. Rough starts will be red-flagged.
*24. Each puller has two attempts to pass the 20-foot mark. Pull is official after the 20-foot mark is passed.
  25. Front wheels may not leave the ground more than 18” during the pull.
  26. Excessive loss of liquid (steady or intermittent stream) discharged on the track will be red flagged.
*27. The pull will be red flagged and measured at the spot the tractor runs out of bounds if any part of the tractor or sled crosses the boundary line.
  28. Pull is over when forward motion of sled is stopped or red flag is dropped.
  29. A protest must be filed within the weight class before the next class begins at the sign up booth.
        A $50.00 protest fee must be paid before the protest will be allowed.
  30. No reckless driving will be permitted on or off of the track. Track officials may disqualify any tractor driver for non-sportsmanship conduct, intoxication, or failure to stop when red-flagged.
  31. Rules are subject to revision at any time by track officials.
  32. At all times the tractors, drivers, and pulls will be governed by track officials and flagmen.
  33. Entry fee will not be refunded if disqualified.
  34. Track officials’ rulings and decisions are final.

Rules for Super Antique Classes

1. Maximum RPM 4000.
2. Pull is automatically disqualified when boundaries are exceeded.
3. Fans removed on engines over 3000 RPM.
4. All tire sizes allowed. Cut tires allowed.
5. Must have closed ring hitch with minimum 3” ID and ¾” diameter. Tractor must not obstruct chain or clevis.
6. Must have working kill switch.
7. Tractors can pull in any gear. Rough starts will be red flagged.
8. 75’ false start allowance.
9. Tractors not meeting specifications will not be permitted to pull.
10. Super Tractors cannot pull in Antique Classes. Antique Tractors can pull in Super Classes.
11. All Stock Antique Rules apply.

Rules for Hot Farm Classes

1. Roll cages or factory ROPS with seat belt required.
2. Any year model allowed.
3. Must have a pair of wheelie bars.
4. Transmission wraps are required and steel flywheels are recommended.
5. Fans removed on engines over 3000 RPM.
6. Spring loaded hand throttles that will automatically return to idle speed are required.
7. All tractors must have working brakes.
8. Must use stock transmission housing. No aluminum replacements.
9. All size tires allowed. Cut tires allowed.
10. Must have working kill switch, Air shutoff preferred.
11. Tractors can pull in any gear. Rough starts will be red-flagged.
12. Pull is automatically disqualified when boundaries are exceeded with no distance recorded.
13. 75’ False start allowance.
14. Any tractor deemed unsafe by track officials will not be allowed to pull.
15. All Stock Antique Rules apply.
16. All weights must be secure. No loose weights.

Rules for Modern Farm Tractors

1. Antique tractors allowed.
2. Maximum 3000 RPM
3. Stock or out-of –field appearance.
4. No dual wheels. No 4x4.
5. Must have original equipment.
6. Turbo Allowed
7. Draw Bar must measure 20” from top of draw bar, min. 18” from center of axle, and ¾” thick.
8. Pull from after market clevis only.
9. May pull in any gear.
10. T/A’s, Multi Power, and Power Shifts allowed but one shift only.
11. Pull is automatically disqualified when boundaries are exceeded with no distance recorded.
12. Flagmen are in charge of the track.
13. Rules are subject to revision at any time by track officials.
14. All Stock Antique Rules Apply

Truck Pull Rules

1. Driver must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license. Drivers 16 & 17 may compete with an Insurance release signed by their parent or guardian.
2. No alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted. Alcohol consumption or unsportsman like behavior will be grounds for disqualification.
3. Any truck can only hook once per class.
4. Drivers pull in either first or second gear. No shifting allowed.
5. A puller may have a second try if he/she stops within 75 feet of the start line. However, in a pull-off the puller has only one try.
6. No passengers allowed in the truck while it is pulling.
7. Loss of equipment under green will stop the pull.
8. There will be and automatic disqualification in all classes if the pulling truck touches the sidelines.
9. All trucks when entering or leaving the property are not to exceed 5 mph and when not pulling must remain in the pit area.
10. All registered pull trucks must have their number cards visible at all times in the windshield.
11. Pullers may have sled spotted on starting line where desired if he/she notifies sled operator in sufficient time when sled is returning to the starting line from the previous pull.
12. All trucks must pull from a clevis or D ring with 3” ID and have a hitch height of 30” maximum height to the top of the hitch.
13. Trucks must be Street Legal. This means have Tag, Insurance, and D>O>T approved tires(no cut or alter tires)!
14. All decisions concerning truck classification and/or eligibility will be made by the track officials.
15. Rules are subject to revision at any time by track officials.
16. At all times the trucks, drivers, and the pulls will be governed by track officials and flagmen.
17. Entry fee will not be refunded if disqualified.
18. Lack of adherence to these rules will be grounds for disqualification.
19. Track officials’ decisions are final.

Modified Truck Specifications

1. All trucks must have a factory like hood, doors, seats, and bed – either pickup bed or flat bed.
2. All trucks must have a hitch height of 30” maximum height to the top of the hitch.
3. All trucks must pull from a clevis or D ring with 3” ID.
4. All trucks must have a kill switch on the rear of the truck to stop engines in case of emergency.
5. No nitrous or alcohol fuel.
6. All trucks must have working brakes with factory brake pedal.
7. Trucks will carry no fuel or battery inside the cab.
8. Automatic transmissions need blanket.
9.  Manual transmission must have steel bell housing and fly wheel.
10. U joints on drive shafts must be shielded.
11. Trucks manufactured for pulling must have drive shaft loops.
12. Lack of adherence to these specifications will be grounds for disqualification.
13. Rules are subject to revision at any time by track officials.
14. All decisions concerning truck classification and/or eligibility will be made by the track officials.
15. Track officials’ decisions are final.

Rules for Farm Stock Tractors

1. Stock Tractor any year as factory equipped.
2. Maximum speed of 8 M.P.H.
3. Factory Draw Bar no higher than 20” with an after market clevis.
4. No Duels & No 4x4
5. TA’s, Multi-Power, and Power Shifts allowed – One Shift Only
6. Weights and Weight Brackets allowed.

Rules for V8 Modified Classes

1. Tractors must retain tractor appearance.
2. Roll cages with seat belts required.
3. Wheelie bars that support the weight of the tractor are required.
4. Maximum tires of 18.4.
5. Break away kill switches required.
6. Spring return throttle required.
7. Single carburetor; Gas or racing fuel only. No alcohol or nitrous.
8. No engine driven fans.
9. Steel shield or blanket wrap required for bell housing.
10. Hitches have a 20” maximum height, Min. 18” from centerline of rear axle, Min. if ¾” thick and 3” D ring with No movement.
11. All weights must be secured. No loose weights.
12. False start distance of 75’ allowed.
13. Pull is automatically disqualified when boundaries are exceeded and no distance is recorded.
14. Any tractor deemed unsafe by track officials will not be allowed to pull.
15. Rules are subject to revision at any time by track officials.
16. At all times the tractors, drivers, and pulls will be governed by track officials and flagmen.
17. Entry fee will not be refunded if disqualified.
18. Track official’s rulings and decisions are final.

Rules for V8 Rail Tractors

All V8 Modified rules apply except as follows:
1. Any tire size allowed.
2. Roll cages required with seat belts required.
3. Any single engine allowed.
4. Any fuel allowed.
